Introduction

DF-68 substitute alkali is an environmentally friendly powder product that is easily soluble in cold water and can be diluted using automatic liquid supply system equipment; Can be used as a substitute for soda ash; DF substitute alkali can reduce the inventory of soda ash, save dyeing time, lower dyeing costs, improve dyeing quality, and reduce defect rates.

Throughout the entire dyeing process using DF substitute alkali, the pH remains stable and has better dyeing buffering properties than pure alkali, resulting in uniform dyeing results, excellent dyeing repeatability (no color difference), and shortened dyeing time.

Basic Character

1. DF substitute alkali is a synthetic powder coupling agent, particularly suitable for dyeing fibers with reactive dyes. This product is used to replace soda ash.

2. Due to the high adhesion of dyes when used on fibers, excellent friction resistance, color fastness, and bright color can be obtained (which is related to controlling and stabilizing the pH value during the dyeing process). There is no decrease in brightness, absorption rate, discoloration, or poor reproducibility caused by the use of NaOH, nor is there any cylinder difference or color instability caused by the use of trisodium phosphate.

3. Can be used in various types of dyeing equipment. Especially when using tube yarn for low bath ratio dyeing, the addition of powder substitute alkali can promote the dye solution to remain liquid, making it easy to circulate and achieve a uniform dyeing effect, without the problem of increased viscosity and difficult circulation of the dye solution after the addition of soda ash.

4. Excellent staining reproducibility, no batch difference or cylinder difference.

5. Suitable for reactive dye dyeing at various temperatures such as Levafix, Cibatron, Remazol, Sumifix, Procion, etc., it avoids the phenomenon of adding soda ash in batches to the dye solution to prolong the dyeing time. It can be added to the dye solution at once, which can shorten the dyeing time.

6. During the dyeing process, the pH value remains stable and has better buffering properties than pure alkali, which can achieve uniform dyeing results.

Application

1. Dilute with a ratio of 1:7-1:9 before use to achieve the same amount of caustic soda. Do not weigh directly and add to the dye vat.

2. The amount of DF substitute alkali used depends on the dye system used, generally around 1-4g/L. Please confirm the color matching in the laboratory before using it on site.

1. DF substitute alkali is a strongly alkaline and corrosive substance that should be treated with appropriate and safe facilities, including rubber aprons and goggles, to avoid removing the skin and eyes. If it gets on, immediately rinse with plenty of water. If clothes get stuck, they should be replaced immediately and sprayed.

2. DF substitute alkali is a buffering alkaline agent used for fixing reactive dyes, which can replace pure alkali.

3. The diluted DF substitute base can be directly added to the dye bath without the need for any automatic mixer or separate addition, nor does it require separate bath treatment

4. DF substitute alkali can be used in dyeing dark colors. If the color is too light, the amount of Yuanming powder can be appropriately increased (by about 8-12 g/L) or the insulation time can be extended by about 15-30 minutes. If 1g/L of sodium carbonate can be pre added before adding dye, it can basically solve the problem of slightly lighter color retention in medium and dark colors.

5. DF substitute alkali is more stable and controllable throughout the entire dyeing process than strong bases such as sodium carbonate and sodium hydroxide. It can automatically supply the required amount of alkali for slow release and has good repeatability in dyeing.
